Education
Education Applications for Extended Reality.
Use Case
Sinclair College runs the National UAS Training and Certification Center in Dayton OH. Using AVATAR’s XRcreate Professional, Sinclair worked with AVATAR to develop its first in-house Augmented Reality application for a vertical takeoff and landing for the EH-8 UAS, manufactured by SelectTech Geospatial. The AR solution provides detailed 3D models of UAS components, intuitive step-by-step assembly guidance and quality control, and supports onsite and offsite learning through dual use mode, and is compatible with HoloLens, iOS, and Android. Benefits include global standards compliance to IMRSA (International Mixed Reality Standards Association) for quality insurance, easy updates for continuous improvement, shortened training time to enhance learning, error reduction and improved assembly.
